20 October 10:00 - 16:00 BST
The Careers & Internship Fair offers you a chance to meet representatives from a wide range of organisations and informally discuss the breadth of career paths open to you.
This virtual one-day event gives you the opportunity (whatever your year of study) of talking directly to employers in the sectors that interest you; you may wish to explore graduate vacancies, internships or placement years, and career prospects within particular businesses, public services or not-for-profit sectors.
The virtual Careers & Internship Fair will give you the opportunity to visit a broad range of employer stalls, find out about their organisation and opportunities, and speak directly to a representative should you wish to find out more. One-to-one discussions can happen via text, audio or video. The event portal will be available in the run up to the event so you can visit the employer stalls, book appointments for discussions and complete your student profile. Any employers you speak to will be able to see the information you share about yourself, including degree discipline, year of study and career interests - so make sure to create a really great profile in advance!
For information about how the event will work and how you can best prepare, please view the video below.
If you'd like to chat directly with a Careers Adviser visit the Durham University Careers & Enterprise stall.
