The STEM Careers & Internship Fair addresses some of the specific career needs of scientists, engineers, mathematicians and IT students.

This virtual one-day event, held in Michaelmas Term, gives you the opportunity (whatever your year of study) of talking directly to employers about roles within Science, Technology and related sectors with a variety of employers looking to recruit.

The Fair is aimed primarily at all undergraduates, postgraduates and early career researchers in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, Natural Sciences and Physics.

Students from all faculties and disciples are welcome to attend the event.

The virtual STEM Careers & Internship Fair will give you the opportunity to visit a broad range of employer stalls, find out about their organisation and opportunities, and speak directly to a representative should you wish to find out more. One-to-one discussions can happen via text, audio or video. The event portal will be available in the run up to the event so you can visit the employer stalls, book appointments for discussions and complete your student profile. Any employers you speak to will be able to see the information you share about yourself, including degree discipline, year of study and career interests. So make sure to create a really great profile in advance!

For information about how the event will work and how you can best prepare, please view the video below.

If you'd like to chat directly with a Careers Adviser visit the Durham University Careers & Enterprise stall.
